They
just don’t make holiday specials the way they used to… especially
this one. If you enjoyed the corny fun of those old-fashioned holiday
variety shows starring Andy Williams, Perry Como and The Mandrell Sisters,
you’ll love A VERY SPECIAL (Holiday) SPECIAL.
Last year’s show included:
- Staged readings of two one-acts:
– Not A Creature Was Stirring by Christopher Durang
– Away in the Manger by Roger Rosenblatt
- 5-minute “Nutcracker”
- Vegas-style opening number (cheeseballs included)
- PLUS several song spoofs & improv
The Dreamcatcher Resident Acting Company will entertain with holiday
songs, comic sketches and improv, and lots of good old-fashioned fun.
Each year’s show is original; last year’s performance included
a send-up of the Rockettes, numbers from HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS
and an extremely condensed version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.

| FAQs |
Can I bring my kids ?
Absolutely! This very special special is appropriate for the whole
family. |
Will I enjoy the show if I don't celebrate Christmas
?
Probably. We keep the show lighthearted and non-religious. Although
we rely on many Christmas songs and cultural themes, we do toss
a nod to other holidays too. |
Are there any special nights?
Yes, come on opening night (Friday) for an after-show reception with the cast. |

“What
would the holidays be without a little warmth and silliness?”
